It’s a standard requirement for both semi-finished and finished products in factories, as well as for installation, handover, and routine maintenance by power departments. This test is crucial for detecting issues such as poor material choices, loose welds or connections, and coil problems like broken wires or missing strands, thereby preventing operational hazards.
To address the need for rapid DC resistance measurement in large power transformers, we’ve created the RDZR-340Y There Phrase Transformer DC Resistance Tester. This advanced device features three-phase simultaneous testing, a saturable magnetic circuit method, and demagnetization capabilities. It allows for simultaneous power-up of all three phases, independent current and voltage sampling, and provides a real-time display of three-phase resistance and unbalanced rates. These functions significantly reduce the time spent on testing, particularly for the laborious measurement of each tap winding in power transformers.

CHARACTERISTIC
1. The resistance tester introduces a cutting-edge three-phase testing feature, enabling simultaneous measurement of DC resistance in star-connected windings and automatically determining the three-phase unbalance rate. This feature significantly reduces measurement time and boosts testing efficiency. Additionally, it offers phase-by-phase testing for transformers with YN and D (Y) connections.
2. Ideal for large transformers with a five-leg core and delta-connected low-voltage windings, the tester operates in HV & LV series excitation mode. It automatically connects the magnetic augmentation circuit of the windings, allowing for quick and precise measurement of the low-voltage winding’s DC resistance.
3. The There Phrase Transformer DC Resistance Tester allows users to select the winding material, such as copper or aluminum, to account for the specific conversion temperature coefficients of different materials.
