OVERVIEWS

 

Partial discharge (PD) occurs when there are insulation faults in high-voltage equipment, leading to signals such as light, sound, electrical impulses, and vibrations. Monitoring these signals helps detect potential risks and prevent further damage.

Wrindu portable PD detector employs TEV, AE, UHF, and HFCT techniques to measure PD levels and display waveforms. It is ideal for testing a wide range of electrical equipment, including GIS, switchgear, and transformers, and allows users to store and retrieve 2D/3D PD data.

The device evaluates PD severity by measuring the intensity (the peak value of discharge pulses) and the frequency (the pulse count). It is compact, user-friendly, and does not disrupt the operation of high-voltage equipment, providing reliable fault diagnosis.

 

CHARACTERISTIC

 

Configurable with different sensors to realize PD detection for almost all types of high-voltage electrical equipment.

 

Provides multiple discharge patterns including time-domain wave forms, PRPD (Phase Resolved Partial Discharge), and PRPS (Phase Resolved Pulse Sequence) for analyzing different discharge types.

 

User-friendly human-machine interface (HMI) facilitates data management for different equipment.

 

Built-in AE sensor and TEV sensor, with external interfaces for dedicated sensors of transformers, GIS, overhead lines, cables, etc.

 

Adopts non-intrusive detection method, no power outage required during testing, no additional high-voltage source needed, more convenient to use than traditional pulsed PD detectors.

 

Test bandwidth range: 30kHz ~ 2.0GHz, suitable for various detection principles in different frequency bands.
