OVERVIEW
Electrical equipment like transformers and generators shows a development trend of large capacity, high voltage, diversified structure, and sealing. This trend requires insulation resistance testers to have large output capacity, strong anti – interference performance, and good portability. Given this, we designed and developed this series of instruments for measuring the insulation resistance of large high – voltage transformers, remote power cables, laying cables, and other electrical equipment in strong – interference test sites. Its application scenarios cover high-voltage substations, power plants, and other fields.
The digital insulation resistance tester system integrates the advantages of analog and digital circuits and mechanical control. It is the industry leader in output voltage, output current, measurement range, measurement accuracy, anti-interference performance, and other aspects.
CHARACTERISTIC
1. Suitable for 500kV substations, it has strong anti – electric field interference capability up to 2mA (50Hz) and can quickly test the insulation resistance of 500kV large transformers without removing the cable.
2. The short-circuit current reaches 10mA, particularly suitable for testing large-capacity and high-inductance equipment.
3. It has a wide resistance range from 0.01MΩ to 1999GΩ and is equipped with high resolution to ensure accurate measurement results.
4. The output voltage range is adjustable: 0.5kV, 1kV, 2.5kV, 5kV, 10kV, 20kV, which can be flexibly adjusted to the required voltage.
5.The built – in timing function of the digital insulation resistance tester enables users to record data and analyze the absorption rate and polarization index of the measured object.
6. High quality: core components are imported to ensure high precision and reliability.
7. Easy to operate: integrated design, small size, light weight, easy to carry.
8. Sturdy appearance: Made of durable frosted material, it enhances the instrument’s overall texture and prolongs its service life.

FAQ
Q:What is a digital insulation resistance tester?
A:A digital insulation resistance tester is a device used in the electrical industry to measure the insulation resistance of wires, cables, transformers, and other electrical equipment, thereby ensuring the integrity of their insulation.
Q:What is the difference between a digital insulation tester and a Megger?
A:The main difference between an insulation tester and a Megger lies in the test voltage they apply. An insulation resistance meter uses high voltage to detect weak points in insulation and identify potential failures in high-voltage systems. In contrast, Megohmmeters apply a lower test voltage, making them safer for testing low-voltage systems.
Q:What is the principle of the insulation resistance tester?
A:The principle of an insulation resistance tester is based on measuring the current (I) that flows through the target when a voltage (V) is applied. The insulation resistance (Rx) is then calculated by dividing the applied voltage (V) by the resulting current (I).
