Software

 

The software features an intuitive and user-friendly interface, making operation simple and efficient. It integrates multiple functions, including project management, test connection diagrams, real-time waveform display through an oscilloscope function, and comprehensive data analysis.

After the test is completed, the software automatically processes and evaluates the measured data, providing detailed diagnostic results such as:

  • Insulation system structure analysis
  • Cellulose moisture content (%)
  • Insulation liquid conductivity or tan δ value
  • Uneven moisture distribution evaluation
  • Other key insulation condition parameters

This intelligent analysis function helps users quickly understand the insulation status and improve the efficiency and accuracy of transformer condition assessment.

Applications

 

FDS (Frequency Domain Spectroscopy) technology has been widely used since the 1990s for insulation aging assessment and degradation detection.

Compared with traditional single-point tests, FDS provides more complete insulation condition information by analyzing frequency response characteristics and detecting the effects of moisture, temperature, surface leakage, and voltage changes.

It is mainly used for oil-paper insulated equipment, including transformers, bushings, inductors, and instrument transformers. The software can evaluate key parameters such as insulation structure, cellulose moisture content, oil conductivity, and tan δ.

With optional voltage amplifiers, FDS can also be applied to rotating machines and XLPE cables for aging evaluation and water tree detection.
