Dubai Dubais 900MW Project

The 900MW photovoltaic project in Phase 5 of Dubai is located in the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, covering a total area of 10.17 square kilometers and is constructed in three phases. The project utilizes advanced solar photovoltaic bidirectional technology and increases power generation through single-axis tracking, representing a leading project in advanced solar photovoltaic technology in the Middle East.

As the largest planned photovoltaic power station project in Dubai, it marks a significant milestone in the region’s development of clean energy. The substation for the project is in place, and the construction will be carried out in three phases. The first phase includes the installation of a 300MW photovoltaic system and supporting 132kV substations. Zhejiang Huodian, mainly responsible for the 900MW photovoltaic installation and substations, aims to meet the electricity needs of 270,000 households in Dubai, reducing carbon emissions by 1.18 million tons annually.

Under the leadership of Zhejiang Huodian, Rui Du M&E Company has supported the development and construction of the new energy photovoltaic project. They supplied a batch of electrical testing and maintenance equipment for the Dubai 900MW photovoltaic project, including CT comprehensive characteristic testers, SF6 gas leak detectors, SF6 gas moisture detectors, 300kV DC generators, SF6 gas imaging leak detectors, loop resistance testers, transformer comprehensive characteristic testers, etc. These devices will provide reliable support for the normal operation of the Dubai 900MW photovoltaic project and timely prevention of potential faults in the power system.
