OVERVIEW

The core component of the XP-1A SF₆ gas leak detector is a central microprocessor unit (CPU) with advanced digital signal processing capabilities. Its powerful computing and processing capabilities can accurately control the circuit and efficiently process the detection signal. By adopting large-scale integrated circuit technology, the number of components in the circuit is reduced by 40% compared with traditional designs, effectively reducing the complexity of the circuit, thereby significantly improving the reliability and operating efficiency of the equipment. The microprocessor monitors the probe and battery voltage in real time at a frequency of up to 4000 times per second. With its ultra-high sampling frequency and precise signal capture capabilities, even extremely weak leakage signals can be accurately identified, ensuring the equipment can operate stably and reliably in various complex environments.

Regarding functional design, the XP-1A SF₆ gas leak detector incorporates a series of humanized and practical functional features. It has a seven-level sensitivity adjustment function. Each time the sensitivity is increased, the detection accuracy is correspondingly improved, and the sensitivity can be increased by up to 64 times, which can meet the diverse needs of leak detection accuracy in different scenarios. Equipped with a three-color light-emitting diode (LED), it can provide a progressive, wide-range, intuitive indication of the degree of leakage. Not only that, the LED also displays the current sensitivity level and battery power, allowing users to grasp the device’s status at any time.

FAQ

Q: Is there a device that can detect SF6 gas leaks?

A: Yes, devices like the Windu SF6 gas leak detector are designed to detect SF6 gas leaks. Customers find it easy to use and cost-effective, with high sensitivity that helps identify leaks missed by traditional methods like soapy water. Its accuracy in pinpointing leaks is highly appreciated.

Q: How to detect SF6 gas leak?

A: The XP-1A SF6 gas leak detector uses photo-acoustic IR spectroscopy to detect even the smallest concentrations of SF6 gas, down to the parts per billion (ppb) range. It is typically used for leak testing during the final inspection of Gas-Insulated Equipment (GIE) but can also monitor SF6 levels in enclosed spaces.

Q: How do you test for SF6 gas?

A:  SF6 Gas Test Methods
There are three main methods for testing SF6 gas. One of the most common is on-site testing using an SF6 gas leak detector. The choice of method depends on factors such as manufacturer specifications, government regulations, and other requirements.
