OVERVIEW

RDHG-E CT PT Analyzer is an innovative upgraded version of the transformer volt-ampere characteristic ratio polarity tester based on the traditional voltage regulator, booster and current booster design. We developed this new test equipment after extensive user feedback, in-depth market research, and theoretical research. The instrument adopts high-performance DSP, ARM, and advanced manufacturing technology to ensure stability, reliability, and efficiency. It is an ideal instrument for transformer testing in the power industry with complete functions, high automation, and fast testing efficiency.

CHARACTERISTIC

  • 1. The equipment has comprehensive functions and can meet the test requirements of excitation characteristics (volt-ampere characteristics), ratio, polarity, secondary winding resistance, secondary load, ratio difference and angle difference of various CTs (such as protection type, metering type, TP type). It is also suitable for the test of excitation characteristics, ratio, polarity, secondary winding resistance, ratio difference and other parameters of various PT electromagnetic units.
  • 2. The CT PT Analyzer can automatically generate CT and PT test parameters such as inflexion point voltage/current, 10% (5%) error curve, accuracy limit factor (ALF), instrument safety factor (FS), secondary time constant (Ts), residual magnetism coefficient (Kr), saturation and unsaturation inductance.
  • 3. The advanced low-frequency test method is adopted to meet the CT test requirements of knee voltage below 45KV.
  • 4. The test complies with various transformer standards, such as IEC60044-1 and IEC60044-6, and can automatically select the appropriate test standard according to the transformer type and level.
  • 5. Easy to operate, one clicks to complete CT DC resistance, excitation, ratio and polarity tests. Other CT tests can be performed through unified wiring except for load tests.
  • 6. The equipment uses a rotating photoelectric mouse for operation, which is simple, efficient, and easy to master.
  • 7. Equipped with a graphic LCD to display real-time test results.
  • 8. The panel has a built-in printer that automatically generates and prints test reports.
  • 9. The CT PT Analyzer can store up to 2000 test data sets, which will not be lost after power failure.

FAQ

Q: What is a CT PT analyzer?

A: A CT PT analyzer is a tool for testing and evaluating the performance of Current Transformers (CTs) and Potential Transformers (PTs) in power systems. It ensures accuracy and reliability through ratio, polarity, and burden tests, aiding in transformer maintenance and troubleshooting.

Q: What is the purpose of the CT analyzer?

A: The CT analyzer tests and assesses the performance of Current Transformers (CTs) in power systems, ensuring accuracy and reliability through ratio, polarity, and burden tests. It is essential for maintaining transformer functionality and identifying potential issues in the power industry.

Q: How do you test CT and PT?

A: To test CTs and PTs:
1. Ratio Check: Ensure the turn ratio aligns with specs.
2. Polarity Verification: Confirm accurate polarity for precise readings.
3. Burden Inspection: Check burden impedance meets specifications.
4. Saturation Examination: Assess saturation under high currents or voltages.
5. Insulation Integrity: Evaluate insulation resistance.
6. Wiring Inspection: Verify wiring accuracy and security.
7. Secondary Injection: Inject test current into CT secondary, and confirm relay operation.
8. Regular Monitoring: Monitor CT/PT during routine operations for any anomalies.
