Construction has started on Squadron Energy’s 69-turbine, 414MW Uungula Wind Farm in the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (REZ), which is readied to be the biggest wind ranch in New South Wales.
The ranch additionally has an authorized link to the existing transmission grid, the facilities for which are readied to be built, had, operated, and maintained by Transgrid’s commercial arm, Lumea.
Squadron Energy, a firm owned by Tattarang, will receive financial backing from Dr Andrew Forrest, the Chairman of Tattarang. Dr Forrest has shared his dedication to funding Squadron’s growth pipe, which aims to aid the Federal Government with its renewable resource goals.
